Linkstall lets sellers in Nigeria put their products online and receive orders on WhatsApp. This page explains what information we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Linkstall is run by Uwaifo Marrion Heritage in Ilorin, Nigeria.
What we collect
From sellers: your email address, password (stored securely, we cannot read it), store name and link, WhatsApp number, logo, banner, product details and photos, delivery and payment details you choose to show, and the orders your store receives.
From shoppers: when you send an order, the name, phone number, delivery address, note and items you enter. We do not ask shoppers to create an account.
Why we collect it
To run the store and deliver your order to the seller, to show sellers their orders and stock, to keep the service secure and prevent spam, and to manage seller plans and billing.
Who sees it
A shopper's order details are shared with the seller of that store, because the seller needs them to deliver. When you press send, the order is also opened in WhatsApp and sent through WhatsApp's own service. We store the order so the seller can see and manage it. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
We use trusted providers to run the service: Supabase (database and file storage) and Vercel (hosting). They process data on our behalf.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as the seller's account is active, so the seller can keep accurate records. If a seller closes their account, we delete their store data on request.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. A shopper who wants an order removed should contact the seller or us. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Security
The service uses HTTPS. Each seller can see only their own store data. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not put sensitive information in order notes.
Children
Linkstall is not meant for people under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above.
